PROJECT PORTFOLIO

SEATTLE WATERFRONT PARK 10' RETAILBOXES

Seattle Waterfront Park

ROXBOX MODEL | MOBILE STRUCTURE

ROXBOX collaborated with the Friends of Waterfront Park team to design + build four solar-powered, ADA-compliant 10′ RetailBOXes for Seattle Waterfront Park’s brand-new attraction, the Promenade Pop-Ups. These 100% off-grid retail units are designed to provide economic opportunities for BIPOC-owned businesses local to the Seattle area. The mobile units will be moved around the park throughout the year based on demand, events, and seasonal park attractions.

The Seattle Waterfront Park team also commissioned two inspiring Indigenous artists to adorn the RetailBOXes in custom murals. The kiosk artworks honor and acknowledge the deep-rooted history and cultural significance of the Native peoples in Washington.
