Raging Waves is Illinois’ largest outdoor waterpark, located on more than 58 acres in Yorkville, Illinois, 45 minutes west of the Chicago Loop. ROXBOX collaborated with the Raging Waves team to design + build Sharky’s Beach Bar, a mobile 20′ BillyBOX (full-service shipping container bar).

The container bar can be found at the entrance to the Great Barrier Reef, the waterpark’s 25,000 sq ft wave pool. Designed to serve beer on tap and canned/bottled beverages, the mobile BillyBOX was the perfect solution for this high foot traffic area. With three serving awnings, a walk-in cooler, 6-tap direct draw system, and merchandiser refrigerator, the BillyBOX can easily handle the large crowds interested in enjoying a cold beverage while relaxing at the wave pool.
